Multipliers
Liz Wiseman
What’s the difference between a manager or head of a company and a leader? A good leader knows that potential can developed and people shoudn’t just be written off. Understanding the different ways that people work and putting energy into developing people’s knowledge and skills doesn’t always come easily for people, but it’s key to bringing out the best in people.
Multipliers presents the different mentalities in leadership positions that lead to people being “diminishers” (stiflers of genius) and “multipliers” (builders of genius). Viewing and treating employees and staff members as capable and smart and making efforts to encourage development provides open space for long-term growth and success.
