Maxwell Philp


Maxwell is responsible for all of our digital marketing and communications activities at May & Company. He engages with our social media channels, manages the website, develops and procures content, and helps with graphic design. Outside of work he is currently pursuing his master’s degree in international affairs at the Hertie School in Berlin and is writing his thesis on disinformation warfare on social media.


Prior to joining May & Company, Maxwell worked at the startup investor and corporate innovation platform Plug and Play, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company across Europe and China as Global Training Manager. Maxwell gained his communications experience at Stanford while working alongside leading social psychologists and then Attorney General Kamala Harris to help translate research on racial bias into trainings for police officers. Early in his career, he designed research assessments and wrote policy memos for a public policy think-tank at New York University, where he also received his BS in applied psychology.
